Amazfit Active 2 Square with AMOLED Display, 160+ Sports Modes, GPS, Bluetooth Calling Launched in India

Amazfit has introduced the Amazfit Active 2 Square in India, following its recent global debut. The round version (Amazfit Active 2) was launched in April. This model features a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with sapphire glass and a polished stainless-steel frame, maintaining the core attributes of its predecessor. The BioTracker 6.0 PPG biosensor system enhances health monitoring precision by capturing more biometric signals.

The smartwatch supports Bluetooth calling and offers Maps with turn-by-turn directions. It includes over 160 sports modes, such as the HYROX race, and features Smart Recognition technology. With 5 ATM water resistance, it promises up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge, making it suitable for various activities.

Specifications and Features

The Amazfit Active 2 Square boasts a 1.75-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 390x450 pixels. It is protected by 2.5D tempered glass with an anti-fingerprint coating and offers a peak brightness of up to 2000 nits. The device operates on Bluetooth 5.2 LE, compatible with Android 7.0 and above, as well as iOS 15.0 and above.

Powered by Zepp OS 5, it includes Zepp Flow AI voice control and features an in-built microphone and speaker for Bluetooth phone calls. The smartwatch is equipped with multiple sensors including BioTracker 6.0 PPG biometric sensor, accelerometer sensor, barometer, ambient light sensor, temperature sensor, and supports five satellite positioning systems like GPS and GLONASS.

Advanced Health Monitoring

The device offers comprehensive health monitoring capabilities such as 24-hour heart rate tracking, SpO2 measurement, stress monitoring, readiness score insights, and improved sleep algorithms. Additionally, it provides smart recognition for strength training movements and sports activities.

For fitness enthusiasts, the watch includes Zepp Coach running coach with Track Run mode, smart trajectory correction, virtual pacer functionality, and race achievement predictions to enhance training efficiency.

Battery Life and Connectivity

The smartwatch houses a 260mAh battery that can last up to 10 days under typical usage conditions or up to five days with heavy use. In battery saver mode, it can extend up to 19 days while offering continuous GPS usage for up to 21 hours.

Additional features include music control, camera control via smartphone apps notifications, call notifications, sedentary reminders along with To-Do List and Calendar Reminder functionalities.

The Amazfit Active 2 Square is available in black with an additional red strap included in the package. Priced at Rs.12,999 during Amazon Prime Day sale from July 12th-14th with early access starting July 10th for Prime members on Amazon.in; it will also be accessible through leading online and offline stores.
