Amazfit Bip 6 India Launch Teased: Here’s What to Expect

Amazfit is gearing up to launch its latest smartwatch, the Bip 6, in India. The company recently teased the upcoming release on its official X account, hinting at a launch expected as early as next week.

The Bip 6 was introduced in the US a few weeks ago, and now it's ready to make its way to Indian shelves with a few tweaks tailored for the local market.

What’s New in the Bip 6?

The Amazfit Bip 6 brings some noticeable upgrades over its predecessor, the Bip 5. The most obvious change is the 1.97-inch AMOLED display, which replaces the smaller LCD screen from the previous model. This larger screen comes with 2,000 nits of peak brightness, making it more readable under direct sunlight. It also includes a tempered glass cover and anti-fingerprint coating for added durability.

The smartwatch is built with a sturdy aluminum alloy frame and comes in four color options: Black, Charcoal, Red, and Stone. Weighing just 27.9 grams without straps, the Bip 6 is designed to be both lightweight and durable for everyday use.

Health Tracking and Sports Modes

Amazfit has packed the Bip 6 with a host of health-focused features:

Battery Life and Durability

The Bip 6 is powered by a 340mAh battery that promises up to 14 days of typical usage. In power-saving mode, it can stretch up to 26 days, while heavy use brings it down to about 6 days. It also comes with a 5 ATM water-resistance rating, making it safe for swimming and outdoor activities.

Launch Date and Pricing

Amazfit is expected to launch the Bip 6 in India early next week, although an exact date has yet to be confirmed. The global model launched at $79.99 (around ₹6,800), and it's anticipated that the Indian pricing will be in the same range or slightly higher.
