Amazfit Bip 6 Launched in India with AMOLED Display, GPS, 14-Hour Battery Life: Check Price, Specs, Features

Amazfit has introduced the Bip 6, the newest addition to its Bip series of smartwatches. This model features a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, replacing the previous LCD screen. An ambient light sensor is included for automatic brightness adjustments. The smartwatch boasts a robust aluminium alloy frame and supports Bluetooth calling through its built-in microphone and speaker.

The Bip 6 offers water resistance up to 5 ATM, equivalent to 50 meters, surpassing the IP68 rating of its predecessor, the Bip 5. It includes built-in GPS with support from five satellite systems. Users can choose from over 140 sports modes such as HYROX Race and Smart Strength Training. Additionally, it provides personalised AI coaching and promises up to two weeks of battery life.

Specifications and Features

The Amazfit Bip 6 is equipped with a 1.97-inch AMOLED screen featuring a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels. The display is protected by tempered glass with an anti-fingerprint coating. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, compatible with Android devices running version 7.0 or higher and iOS devices on version 14.0 or above.

Powered by Zepp OS 2.0, the smartwatch includes an in-built microphone and speaker for Bluetooth phone calls. It also features the BioTracker PPG biometric sensor supporting blood-oxygen monitoring, along with acceleration, gyroscope, ambient light, geomagnetic sensors, and five satellite positioning systems.

Health Monitoring and Notifications

The Bip 6 offers comprehensive health monitoring capabilities including continuous heart rate tracking, SpO2 measurement, stress monitoring, and one-tap measurement functionality. Users receive calendar reminders, call notifications, sedentary alerts, and smartphone app notifications directly on their wrist.

Additional features include music control and camera control functionalities. The smartwatch measures 46.3 x 40.2 x 10.45mm and weighs just 27.9g without the strap. It is dust and water-resistant up to a depth of five atmospheres.

The device houses a 340mAh battery offering up to two weeks of usage under typical conditions, six days under heavy use, and up to twenty-six days in battery saver mode.
