Amazfit Helio Strap Pro Launched with Dual-Sensor Tracking for HYROX Athletes: Could Rival Whoop & Fitbit Air
Amazfit has launched the Helio Strap Pro, a screen-free fitness tracking system designed for HYROX competitors and hybrid-training athletes. Unlike traditional smartwatches that primarily rely on wrist-based tracking, the Helio Strap Pro uses a dual-sensor setup to monitor heart rate, body movement, stability, and training load during high-intensity workouts.
The new wearable builds on the original Helio Strap by adding a second waist-mounted sensor. Amazfit says this setup improves tracking accuracy during functional fitness exercises involving gripping, pushing, pulling, carrying, and explosive movements, where wrist-based readings can be less reliable.

Amazfit Helio Strap Pro Price & Availability
The Amazfit Helio Strap Pro will be available globally from the end of June 2026 at a price of USD 199.99 (roughly Rs. 18,885). The package includes the Helio Core Motion HR module, Helio Core Motion Waist module, Helio Pro Clip, nylon wristband, nylon armband, and a magnetic charger.
While Amazfit has not announced India availability, the company is expected to bring the product to the country later this year, considering its strong presence in India's wearable segment.
Amazfit Helio Strap Pro Specifications and Features
The Helio Strap Pro consists of two sensor modules. The Helio Core Motion HR module is worn on the upper arm and uses Amazfit's BioTracker 6.0 PPG sensor for heart-rate monitoring. The waist-mounted Helio Core Motion Waist module tracks core-body movement, positioning, and stability during workouts.
Together, the sensors provide a more complete view of athletic performance, particularly during HYROX-style events and hybrid training sessions. At launch, the system supports HYROX Race and HYROX Simulation modes on the Amazfit Balance 3 and Balance Ultra smartwatches. Amazfit says support for additional watches will be added through future updates.
Workout data is analyzed through the Zepp App, which provides insights into cardio effort, movement quality, muscle load, and recovery. The platform is optimized for all eight HYROX workout stations, including SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmer's Carry, Sandbag Lunges, and Wall Balls.

The screen-free design allows the sensors to continue tracking even if the smartwatch is removed during training. The Zepp App also includes HybridCharge Energy Intelligence, which combines BioCharge, Training Load, and LifeLoad metrics to help users better understand fitness, recovery, and overall physical readiness.
Amazfit Helio Strap Pro: Battery Life and Connectivity
Both modules measure 33.96 × 24.29 × 11.25 mm. The HR module weighs 11.4 grams, while the waist unit weighs 10.7 grams. Both feature accelerometer, gyroscope, and geomagnetic sensors, while the HR module also includes a temperature sensor.
The Helio Core Motion HR module is rated for up to 11 days of battery life, while the waist module can last up to 44 days on a single charge. Both carry a 5 ATM water-resistance rating.
Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.2, allowing real-time heart-rate broadcasting to compatible sports watches, cycling computers, fitness equipment, and training apps. The system also supports syncing with platforms such as Strava, Apple Health, Google Fit, TrainingPeaks, Runna, adidas Running, komoot, and Relive.
