Recently, it was reported how Apple Watch has saved a man's life who fell off a cliff and broke his back while hiking. The fall detection feature of the watch called 911 immediately after it detected the fall. This time the lifesaver saved a Canadian woman from getting sexually assaulted.

According to CBC news report, on April 1 a woman from Calgary in Canada Alberta, was sleeping in her home around evening time. She woke up when she heard her dog barking too loud. It was then that she discovered a figure hiding in the corner of her home. She attempted to reach her phone to call some help but her phone was not there.

She used her Apple watch to message her boyfriend and alarmed him about the incident. When her boyfriend received the text her called the 911 and informed the local police.

Police arrived at her house and broke through the door and rescued her from the attack. They also arrested the suspect John Joseph Macindoe from the kitchen. After all the investigation, Macindoe confessed at a court in Calgary this week. He was pleaded guilty for breaking into a woman's house with the intention of a sexual assault.

Macindoe was also found with a bag which contains balaclava, pliers, zip ties, buck knife, condoms, and other suspicious items. According to the report, Macindoe was planning for the attack for a long. It was also discovered that the suspect was also having a clone of the lady's building's entrance card and duplicate keys, which helped him to get into her house.
