Apple Launches Watch Series 11 and SE 3 in India: Prices Start at ₹25,900

Apple has refreshed its smartwatch lineup with two new models: the premium Apple Watch Series 11 and the more affordable Apple Watch SE 3. Both bring new health features, design tweaks, and better durability.

Series 11 Adds Hypertension Alerts and Sleep Score

The headline addition in Series 11 is the ability to detect signs of hypertension. Using the optical heart sensor and long-term data, the watch can alert users if it spots consistent signs of high blood pressure. The feature is currently pending regulatory clearance but is expected to roll out in over 150 countries, including the U.S. and EU, later this month.

Another notable feature is sleep score, which gives users a nightly rating based on sleep duration, consistency, and time spent in different sleep stages. Apple says the approach is informed by large sleep studies and clinical data.

More Durable and Longer Lasting

The Series 11 now runs for up to 24 hours on a charge, with fast charging delivering around eight hours of use in just 15 minutes. The aluminum versions get new Ion-X glass with a ceramic coating, which Apple claims is twice as scratch-resistant as the previous model. Titanium models continue to use sapphire glass.

The watch also adds 5G connectivity for faster downloads and better reception, alongside a redesigned antenna system.

Apple Watch SE 3 Gets Always-On Display

The new SE model brings several features that were previously reserved for higher-end versions. It now includes an Always-On display, fast charging, and sleep score. It also gains wrist temperature sensing, retrospective ovulation estimates, and sleep apnea notifications.

Powered by the S10 chip, SE 3 supports on-device Siri, one-handed gestures like double tap and wrist flick, and voice isolation for clearer calls. Apple is also pitching SE 3 as a family option with its “Apple Watch for Kids” setup.

India Pricing and Availability

Apple Watch Series 11 and SE 3 are available to pre-order now and will be in stores from September 19.
