After some delay, the second major version of Apple's operating system for the Apple Watch is finally rolling out. Initially supposed to be launched alongside the iOS 9 stable version five days ago, but got delayed to the presence of an unnamed bug.
Dubbed the watchOS 2 the new OS from the Cupertino giant comes with a lot of new things built-in. Presence of native support for apps is the best addition to the OS so fat. Native support for apps essentially means that apps can now load faster and come with more features.
Further the apps can now use the Taptic engine, Digital Crown, Accelerometer, and Heart Rate Sensor. Plus it can use the speakers and the microphone too!
watchOS 2 is also loaded with a no of customization option. It in fact brings with it a handful of new watch faces, new Nightstand mode and the ability to reply to emails. Add to that the presence of multiple Friends screens and Transit informations.
You can also use more cards with Apple Pay, and ask Siri for more complex things - Siri is now more matured than ever! The presence of Activation Lock helps if your Apple Watch gets stolen.
The update has started rolling to a few number of devices now and will soon be available on your device within a few hours.
