boAt Launches Storm Call 4 and Ultima Vogue 2 With USB Type-C Charging: Check Price, Specs
boAt has introduced two new smartwatches in India, the Storm Call 4 and Ultima Vogue 2. The company says these are the country's first smartwatches to support direct USB Type-C charging, removing the need for proprietary magnetic charging docks.
The idea is simple. Instead of carrying a separate smartwatch charger, users can charge the new wearables using the same Type-C cable they already use for smartphones, tablets, laptops, and power banks.

A Push Towards Universal Charging
USB Type-C has become the standard charging connector across most consumer electronics, but smartwatches have largely continued to rely on proprietary charging solutions.
With the Storm Call 4 and Ultima Vogue 2, boAt is bringing Type-C charging directly to its wearables lineup. The company says the move is aimed at making charging more convenient while reducing dependence on additional accessories.
For users who frequently travel or carry multiple devices, it means one less cable to pack.
Storm Call 4 Focuses on Everyday Use
The boAt Storm Call 4 is positioned as an everyday smartwatch with a focus on utility and battery life.
It features a 1.96-inch HD display with up to 500 nits brightness and includes a functional crown for navigation. The smartwatch also supports Bluetooth calling, IP68-rated dust and water resistance, and more than 100 sports modes.
Health tracking features include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, sleep monitoring, stress tracking, female wellness tracking, and Emergency SOS support.
According to boAt, the smartwatch can deliver up to 12 days of battery life on a single charge.
Ultima Vogue 2 Offers an AMOLED Display
For users looking for a slightly more premium option, the Ultima Vogue 2 adds a metallic frame and an AMOLED display.
The smartwatch features a 1.96-inch AMOLED panel with up to 1,000 nits brightness, making it easier to view outdoors. Like the Storm Call 4, it supports Bluetooth calling, Type-C charging, IP68 protection, and more than 100 sports modes.
The watch also includes heart rate, SpO₂, sleep, and stress monitoring, along with Emergency SOS and female wellness tracking features.
boAt claims the Ultima Vogue 2 can last up to 10 days on a single charge.
