Diesel, the renowned fashion and lifestyle brand, recently hosted a captivating launch event at Mumbai's Jio World Drive, introducing their groundbreaking Vert Collection of timepieces. The event, featuring India's leading pop star, King, and Mr. Johnson Verghese, Managing Director of Fossil Group - India, marked the fusion of horology and hip-hop in a first-of-its-kind range of timepieces developed using VR technology.

Diesel's collaboration with King, a popular Indian pop star, highlights the collection's combination of futuristic aesthetics and transformative design. The event included insights from Mr. Johnson Verghese, who provided information on the design process behind the Vert Collection. The collection's design is inspired by Diesel's Creative Director, Glenn Martens, and aims to provide a futuristic look that complements modern style.

The Vert Collection

The Vert watch from Diesel's Metamorph collection is a unique timepiece that is created entirely through VR technology. It has a hard-shelled appearance that is both organic and futuristic. The watch is available in three colors: black, gold, and silver. It comes with a stainless steel strap bracelet and a three-hand date movement. There is also a limited edition variant, DZ2183, which includes leather inlay accents. Prices start at Rs. 27,995.

In addition to the collection, Diesel offers an immersive virtual experience known as "Metamorph." Developed in collaboration with media-tech artists from Artificial Rome, this project demonstrates Diesel's innovative approach. The Metamorph virtual world, inspired by Vert design details, offers users a chance to explore breathtaking scenery and engage in various challenges, culminating in a virtual concert celebration featuring artist Lil Dre.
