Garmin Introduces Instinct 2X Solar and Solar Tactical Editions in India

Garmin India has introduced the latest additions to its Instinct 2 family: the Instinct 2X Solar and the Instinct 2X Solar - Tactical Edition. These smartwatches are specifically designed to excel in extreme environments. In addition to the new releases, the brand has also announced competitive pricing for the popular Instinct 2 series, making these durable outdoor smartwatches more accessible to outdoor enthusiasts.

Garmin Instinct 2X Solar Series: Specs & Features

The Instinct 2X Solar and Instinct 2X Solar - Tactical Edition come with impressive features such as water resistance up to 10 ATM and a scratch-resistant Power Glass lens. The solar charging capability ensures an unlimited battery life in smartwatch mode, which is ideal for extended outdoor adventures. Furthermore, these watches are built to meet the rigorous standards set by the U.S. military (MIL-STD-810) for durability.

The Instinct 2X Solar features a built-in LED flashlight that can be adjusted for brightness. It offers red and adjustable white light options for better visibility in low-light conditions. In strobe mode, the light alternates between white and red to match your running cadence, ensuring you are easily seen.

The Instinct 2X Solar - Tactical Edition includes a multi-LED flashlight with white and green light options. The green light is especially useful for maintaining night vision during nighttime operations.

Loads of Health and Wellness Features on Offer

Both watches offer a variety of features to support wellness, fitness, and outdoor activities. They provide 24/7 health and wellness tracking, including wrist-based heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, respiration tracking, and Pulse Ox. There are also built-in sports apps for running, biking, swimming, and strength training, along with VO2 max and other training features.

The watches offer advanced metrics such as Heart Rate Variability during sleep, improved positional accuracy with Multi-Band GNSS support, and navigation features like a 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter. The TracBack routing feature helps users retrace their route back to their starting point.

The Instinct 2X Solar introduces a new activity called Obstacle Course Racing, which combines running with various obstacles. Users can track their performance and receive details such as run times, number of obstacles, distance, elevation profile, and heart rate.

The Instinct 2X Solar - Tactical Edition includes features like Jumpmaster and tactical preloaded activities, projected waypoints, dual-position GPS formatting, and Night-Vision Compatibility. Users can activate Stealth Mode to disable GPS position sharing and wireless communication for enhanced privacy and security.
