Google Fitbit Air India Launch Could Be Around the Corner: Amazon Listing Reveals Key Details

Google appears to be gearing up to bring the Fitbit Air to India. The company's latest Fitbit-branded fitness tracker has surfaced on Amazon India, hinting that its official debut in the country may not be far away. Introduced in the US earlier this year, the Fitbit Air adopts a screenless design and focuses on continuous health monitoring, AI-powered wellness insights, and long battery life.

Google Fitbit Air India Launch Timeline and Expected Price

Although Google has not officially confirmed the India launch date, the Amazon India listing strongly suggests that the Fitbit Air could arrive in the country soon. The product page is currently live but marks the wearable as unavailable, indicating that sales have not yet begun.

Google Fitbit Air India Launch Could Be Around the Corner

Google launched the Fitbit Air in the US in May with a price tag of $99 (roughly Rs. 8,500). While there is no word on the India pricing, the wearable is expected to be positioned in a similar affordable fitness tracker segment if launched in the country.

The Amazon listing also reveals a Lavender colour option and confirms that buyers will receive a three-month Google Health Premium trial with the device.

Google Fitbit Air Specifications and Features

The Fitbit Air is a screenless fitness tracker that pairs with Android and iOS smartphones through the Google Health app, where users can view all their health and activity data.

The wearable supports a wide range of health monitoring features, including:

  • Continuous heart rate monitoring
  • Heart rhythm monitoring with AFib alerts
  • Blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking
  • Resting heart rate monitoring
  • Heart rate variability (HRV) tracking
  • Sleep stage analysis and sleep duration tracking

For fitness enthusiasts, the Fitbit Air can automatically detect workouts, track daily activity, log exercise sessions manually, and provide guided workout recommendations through Google Health Coach.

One of its standout features is Gemini-powered AI coaching, which offers personalised health and wellness insights based on the user's activity and health data.

Google claims the Fitbit Air delivers up to seven days of battery life on a single charge. The company also says a five-minute quick charge provides enough battery for up to a full day of use.

The tracker supports interchangeable bands, including the Performance Loop Band made from recycled materials, the Active Band for workouts, and the Elevated Modern Band for everyday wear. More details, including the official India launch date, pricing, and availability, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
