Google Pixel Watch 2 launch in India confirmed: Pre-orders begin on October 5 via Flipkart

Google recently confirmed the Pixel 8 series launch in India. And shortly after confirming the release of the Pixel 8 series in the country, new information emerged about the upcoming Pixel Watch 2.

Unlike its predecessor, the Google Pixel Watch 2 will be released in India. The Pixel Watch 2 will be released alongside the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro on October 4.

Google Pixel Watch 2 Launch in India Confirmed

According to an official post, the Google Pixel Watch 2 will be available for pre-order in India starting from October 5. Moreover, the Pixel Watch 2 will be available for purchase exclusively through Flipkart.

While details about the Pixel Watch 2's specifications and features are yet to be confirmed, Google has teased the smartwatch's design. The teaser reveals that the Pixel Watch 2 will feature a similar design as its predecessor. Moreover, the smartwatch is shown with a porcelain colour band.

Google Pixel Watch 2: What to Expect?

The Google Pixel Watch 2 could use a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 series chipset, either the Snapdragon W5 or Snapdragon W5+. The chip will be further paired with 2GB of RAM and will house a 306 mAh battery.

Reports even indicate that the Pixel Watch 2 will offer over 24 hours of battery life with the always-on display (AOD) feature turned-on. The Pixel Watch 2 is also expected to sport a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 383×384 pixels.
