Pixel Watch 4 Tipped to Come with Emergency Satellite Support - Check Expected Price and Specs

Google is gearing up for its next 'Made by Google' event next month, where it's expected to unveil the next-gen Pixel 10 series and the Pixel Watch 4. While the Pixel Watch 4 may retain a similar design to its predecessor, it's said to get several new features.

According to a new report from Android Headlines, Google is expanding the Personal Safety features on the Pixel Watch 4. In addition to existing tools like Emergency SOS, Crash Detection, and Fall Detection, the next-gen Pixel Watch 4 is expected to include Emergency Satellite Communication and a Breathing Emergencies feature.

Pixel Watch 4 - What to Expect?

According to Android Headlines, the upcoming Pixel Watch 4 will alert users when their blood oxygen levels drop too low. This builds on last year's Loss of Pulse feature, which used the heart rate sensor to detect potential emergencies.

In addition to health upgrades, Google is also making the Pixel Watch 4 repairable. However, the smartwatch is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset, the same processor that runs the Pixel Watch 3.

Moreover, the Pixel Watch 4 is expected to be available in 41mm and 45mm sizes. As far as the price is concerned, the watch is rumoured to retain the same starting price as its predecessor, which starts at Rs 39,900 for the base model in India.

'Made by Google' Event Details

Google recently sent out invitations to major publications confirming the launch event will be held on August 20 in New York City at 01:00 pm ET or 10:30 pm IST.
