Google Pixel Watch 4 Now Available for Purchase in India: Check Pricing, Features, And Availability

Google's Pixel Watch 4, initially launched in August, has now made its way to the Indian market. The smartwatch became available in several regions by October, and a month later, it reached India. This release marks an important step for Google as it expands its presence in the wearable technology sector.

Pricing and Availability

The Pixel Watch 4 comes with a price tag of Rs 39,900 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model. The larger 45mm variant is priced at Rs 43,900. Currently, customers can purchase the watch from Google's online store in India. It is anticipated that other platforms like Flipkart and offline retailers will soon offer it as well.

The smaller 41mm version offers various stylish combinations. These include a Polished Silver Aluminum case paired with an Iris Active Band or a Porcelain Active Band. Additionally, there are options like a Champagne Gold Aluminum case with a Lemongrass Active Band and a Matte Black Aluminum case with an Obsidian Active Band.

Design Variants

The larger 45mm model features distinct designs such as a Satin Moonstone Aluminum case with a Moonstone Active Band. Other choices include a Polished Silver Aluminum case with a Porcelain Active Band and a Matte Black Aluminum case with an Obsidian Active Band.

Equipped with advanced technology, the Pixel Watch 4 boasts a 3D curved always-on AMOLED display. It offers up to 3000 nits brightness and supports DCI-P3 color gamut. The display is protected by Custom 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5, ensuring durability.

Technical Specifications

The watch runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chipset alongside Cortex M55 co-processor. It operates on Wear OS 6.0 and includes 32 GB eMMC storage with 2GB RAM. A range of sensors enhances its functionality, including those for oxygen saturation monitoring and ECG compatibility.

Additional features include multi-path optical heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and more. These sensors enable comprehensive health tracking capabilities such as Daily Readiness Score and Sleep Profile.

Connectivity and Battery Life

The Pixel Watch 4 supports connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6 (both 2.4GHz/5GHz), GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NFC, and optional LTE support. Notably, it includes Satellite SOS communication for US users only.

The battery life varies between models; the 41mm version houses a 325 mAh battery offering up to 30 hours of use with always-on display mode or up to two days using Battery Saver mode. Fast charging allows it to reach 80% charge in just 25 minutes.

The larger model contains a more powerful battery at 455 mAh capacity providing up to forty hours of usage under similar conditions or three days using Battery Saver mode while charging to eighty percent within thirty minutes via USB-C fast charging technology.
