This fitness tracker features a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 194 × 368 pixels. The screen has an HD resolution and a pixel density of 282 PPI. It supports swipe and touch gestures, providing full-screen touch and side button control. The display is always on and has a 2.5D curved design.

The HUAWEI Band 8 includes Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and is compatible with Android 6.0 and iOS 9.0 or higher operating systems. It also comes equipped with an accelerometer sensor, gyroscope sensor, and SpO2 monitoring.

Health monitoring features include heart rate tracking with HUAWEI TruSeen 5.0 support and sleep tracking with HUAWEI TruSleep 3.0. Stress tracking is available through HUAWEI TruRelax support, along with menstrual cycle tracking.
