Huawei Band 8, the Company’s Thinnest and Lightest Smartwatch, Announced
Apart from its nova 11 series, Huawei also announced the Huawei Band 8, its latest smartwatch. The Huawei Band 8 succeeds the Band 7 launched last year.
The Band 8 takes many features from its predecessor, the Huawei Band 7, such as the display, health trackers, water resistances, and workout modes, and adds a few more. Read on to know more about the Huawei Band 8.

Huawei Band 8 Specifications and Features
Like the Huawei Band 7, the Band 8 has a 1.47-inch HD 2.5D AMOLED touch display that has a pixel density of 282 PPI and a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels.
The smartwatch comes with Bluetooth 5.0 which connects to Android 6.0, iOS 9.0, and newer versions, apart from NFC (NFC Edition only).
The device has a 5ATM water-resistance rating that makes it resistant to water at a depth of up to 50 meters.
The Huawei Band 8 comes with health-tracking sensors such as an accelerometer sensor, gyroscope sensor, and an optical heart rate sensor. In addition, it has Huawei TruSeen 5.0 heart rate monitor, Huawei TruSleep 3.0 sleep tracker, a Huawei TruRelax stress tracker, and a Menstrual cycle tracker.
The smartwatch features over 100 workout modes that include 11 professional workout modes. The smartwatch also comes with a Music control, remote camera control, quick message reply, and incoming call alerts.
At 43.45 × 24.54 × 8.99mm and 14g, the Huawei Band 8 is Huawei's lightest and thinnest smartwatch yet. It offers up to 14 days of battery life.

Huawei Band 8 Pricing and Availability
The Huawei Band 8 standard variant is priced at 269 yuan (approximately ₹3,205) and the NFC Edition costs 309 yuan (roughly ₹3,680). The smartwatch is available in Emerald Green, Vibrant Orange, Magic Night Black, and Sakura powder color options.
The Band 8 is also currently available to preorder and will be available from April 28 onwards at several retail outlets across China. The Huawei Band 8 has currently been launched in China and there is no word on its availability globally as yet.
