Huawei Unveils Watch GT Cyber With Interchangeable Cases at MWC 2023
Smartwatches allow for a wide range of customizations, such as swapping bands or changing watch faces, which give these devices a personal touch. But Huawei demonstrated that it doesn't believe these customizations are adequate, as it unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Watch GT Cyber, at MWC this year.
The main feature of this watch is its ability to allow users to customize the watch in seconds using interchangeable cases.

Huawei Watch GT Cyber Has a User-Swappable Case
The Huawei Watch GT features a one-of-a-kind interchangeable case that users can swap out in seconds. Huawei refers to this as the "Smart Movement" as the case can be changed in seconds for a new look.
The watch's main selling point is its customizability, which puts it ahead of other smartwatches that "only" allow users to swap bands.
Huawei has unveiled two Watch GT Cyber editions: an Urban Edition in Golden Black made of ceramic and steel, and a Sport Edition in Midnight Black or Space Grey made of a composite material.
A "cool" feature while swapping out cases is the interactive watch faces that change depending on the case you apply. It's also possible to swap the crown of the watch to your liking. Although the watch's colors and materials are changeable, the overall design remains the same.
Huawei Watch GT Cyber: Specifications
The Huawei Watch GT Cyber has a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a display resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. It includes standard sensors such as a gyroscope, accelerometer, barometer, and optical heart rate sensor, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
The watch is waterproof to 5ATM and can run for up to seven days on a single charge. Like the Watch GT 3 Pro, the smartwatch supports wireless charging.

In terms of software, the Huawei Watch GT Cyber runs HarmonyOS 2.0, that includes the company's suite of fitness features such as Huawei's TruSeen technology, which monitors a person's heart rate in real-time or even while they are sleeping. There are also numerous workout modes available.
The Huawei Watch GT Cyber can be connected to an Android or iOS device using the Huawei Health app.
Huawei Watch GT Cyber: Price and Availability
The Huawei Watch GT Cyber Sports Edition will cost 1,288 Yuan (Rs.15,353), while the Urban Edition will retail for 1,488 Yuan (Rs.17,732).
While the watch is already available in China and some parts of Southeast Asia, Huawei has not stated when it will be available in India.
