According to a report, the Watch seems to be incompatibility with Android Wear, might be the reason that is causing delay in launch. Huawei was forced to replace Google service with its own, or the watch would not be usable in China assuming that company is planning to sell the watch in China and would need to make major changes to the OS. However, Android Wear is not as open as the Android platform.

'The company is working to resolve the issues as well as optimizing the smartwatch for Chinese market and will aim at a September release at the earliest if not for an October release', said He Gang, head of smartphone division at Huawei.
Meanwhile, there is no estimated time-frame regarding when the Watch will be released. Huawei has not made any announcement regarding the pricing and availability during the MWC.
