IFA 2015: TomTom Unveils Spark Series Running Smartwatch

Dutch-based navigation and mapping product maker TomTom, has launched a new running watch with in-built GPS. With this device you can store 500 songs and you can use a pair of bluetooth headsets to stream the musics.

Further, to motivate the runners, this device has 30-minute mix of "motivating, high-energy, upbeat dance anthems" that has been curated by the Ministry of Sound, a radio station and record label in London focused on dance music.

This device comes in 6 variants, where all the versions comes with GPS, activity trackers including steps, distance, calories burned, automatic sleep tracking, bluetooth, and water resistant with rating of up to 5ATM.

Meanwhile, the entry-level variant comes with the feature listed above, while the TomTom Spark Cardio comes with a built-in optical heart rate sensor, the TomTom Spark Music is equipped with 3GB of storage for songs.

Moreover, there is TomTom Spark Cardio + Music which has the option of both the above device. Additionally, the TomTom Spark Music and TomTom Spark Cardio + Music comes with Bluetooth headphones. The whole variant of TomTom Spark series will be available for sale from October 15.
