Motorola Launches Moto 360 (2nd Gen) Smartwatch in India Starting From Rs 19,999
Today, the Illnoise-based Motorola mobility has launched its latest Android wear Smartwatch in the Indian market, dubbed as Moto 360 (2nd Gen). In India, the company has introduced five variants of Moto 360 including three metal variants and two leather ones.
For the first time, Motorola has introduced 2 variants exclusively for women: a distinctive rose gold with blush leather and natural metal.
Meanwhile, this Smartwatch comes in two case sizes - 46mm design or 42mm for a sleeker & more elegant look and different materials like horween leather and aircraft-grade 316L stainless steel.
Moving on, the Moto 360 comes in two variant - 1.56-inch (360 X 330 pixels) display with 233ppi (46mm for Men), Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 1.37-inch (360 X 325 pixels) display with 263ppi (42mm for Men and 35mm for Women), Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
On thehardware front, this Android wear is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, clubbed with 512MB RAM under the hood. Talking about the storage, it has 4GB of built-in memory, with no expansion option.

Moreover, on the software front, the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) is shipped with Android Wear OS, which is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 and iOS. Also, this device comes with Dust and Water Resistant (IP67) certified along with Optical heart rate monitor (PPG), Dual microphones.
The Moto 360 (2nd Gen) equips various sensors including Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope, Vibration/Haptics engine. Further, it supports connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wi-Fi b/g.
Coming to the battery department, the 42mm variant is powered by a 300mAh battery, which lasts up to 1.5 days of usage and the 46mm version is juiced with 400mAh battery with usage of up to 2 days.
The Moto 360 (2nd Gen) 42mm gold leather band variant is priced at Rs. 19,999, while the metal band version is priced at Rs. 22,999. On the other hand, the 46mm metal band version carries a price tag of Rs. 23,999.
Further, the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) will be available exclusively on the e-retailer store Flipkart and Myntra starting from 7.30 today.
