Galaxy Ring's Debut at MWC 2024
In a Newsroom post, Samsung announced the public unveiling of the Galaxy Ring at MWC 2024. Although attendees couldn't try on the device, a large display case allowed enthusiasts to catch a glimpse of the wearable. The Galaxy Ring is set to be available in three distinct color options, adding a touch of personalization for potential users.

Available Sizes
The Samsung Galaxy Ring will be available in US ring sizes 5 through 13. The inside of the ring will have sizing marked S to XL.
Design and Features
Limited details are available about the Galaxy Ring, but images from the showcase suggest a sleek dark metallic body with sensors on the inner side, consistent with the initial teaser at the Galaxy Unpacked event in January. The wearable is expected to offer a range of health tracking features, including a 24x7 heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep monitoring tracker, and other fitness capabilities. Rumors also suggest the inclusion of a blood pressure monitoring feature, although no official launch date information has been disclosed by Samsung.
Health Focus and AI Expansion
Samsung positions the Galaxy Ring as a new health form factor, integrated with the revamped Samsung Health platform. The wearable is speculated to include advanced health monitoring features such as a 24x7 heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracking, and possibly blood pressure monitoring. Samsung Health is undergoing modernization to provide users with personalized health insights, with a potential focus on sleep quality, daily activity, heart rate, and more.
The "intelligent health" suite is teased with two standout features: My Vitality Score, providing personalized health insights based on various metrics, and Booster Card, a tool to track and achieve predefined health goals.

Additionally, Samsung is placing a significant emphasis on Galaxy AI during the MWC showcase. Originally announced for smartphones like the Galaxy S23 series and Tab S9 series, the AI suite will now extend to diverse product lines, including the Galaxy Book 4 series and Galaxy Watch 6 series. The laptops will receive "intelligent productivity" features, while the smartwatches will benefit from "intelligent health" features.
Galaxy Ring's Future Compatibility
Samsung has indicated that the Galaxy Ring will initially be exclusively compatible with Samsung Galaxy smartphones. However, the company has plans to expand compatibility to more Android devices in the future.
