Nothing Headphone (a) Color Options and Launch Timeline Tipped: Check Expected India Price

Nothing seems to be gearing up for the next phase of its audio lineup. After the relatively strong reception of the Nothing Headphone 1, new leaks suggest the company is working on a more affordable pair of over-ear headphones aimed at a wider audience.

The upcoming model is expected to sit below the current Headphone 1 (review) and could be part of Nothing’s broader plan to push more over-ear audio products through 2026. While details around features are still scarce, pricing and positioning are starting to become clearer.

Nothing Headphone (a) Details

According to a Dealabs report, the headphones could be called the Nothing Headphone (a). The big change here appears to be price. The report claims the headset could launch at EUR 159 in Europe and GBP 149 in the UK.

We believe the India pricing to land somewhere around ₹15,000, depending on taxes and import duties. That would place it well below the Nothing Headphone 1, which cost ₹19,999 as of writing.

In simple terms, this would make the Headphone (a) the most affordable over-ear model in Nothing’s lineup so far.

Colours, Launch Timing, and Markets

The leak suggests the Nothing Headphone (a) could be offered in four colour options: Black, Pink, White, and Yellow. That’s a noticeably more playful palette compared to the more restrained look of the Headphone 1, which is only available in Black and White.

As for timing, the report claims the headphones could be announced on March 12, with pre-orders opening on March 5. Europe is said to be the first market, followed by other global regions. Nothing hasn’t confirmed any of this yet, so these dates should be treated as tentative.

What We Don’t Know Yet

So far, there’s no clear information about the specifications or features of the Nothing Headphone (a). Earlier rumours suggested it might be a reworked version of the Headphone 1 with a plastic build, but the reported pricing gap makes that scenario less convincing.

What does seem likely is that the Headphone (a) will offer fewer features than the Headphone 1 to hit a lower price point. Exactly where those compromises show up remains to be seen.

For context, the Nothing Headphone 1 features a transparent over-ear design, physical controls, 40mm dynamic drivers, active noise cancellation up to 42dB with transparency mode, Bluetooth 5.3 with support for multiple codecs, dual-device connectivity, and long battery life.
