Nothing Smartwatch Spotted on BIS
Newly minted personal tech brand helmed by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, Nothing, is preparing to launch its very first smartwatch, if a new leak is to be believed. The company is presently gearing up to launch the Nothing Phone (2) on July 11, and it already has a decent portfolio of smartphones and TWS earbuds for its users, all with a radical transparent design.
According to a tweet from tipster Mukul Sharma, Nothing might be looking to expand into newer categories starting with a smartwatch. A certification listing reveals that smartwatch launch is not too far.

Nothing Smartwatch Could Launch Under a New Sub-Brand
The tipster spotted a Nothing device on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website with the model number D395, listed under the smartwatch category. The certification listing suggests that the newly minted brand might tread into the wearables segment, which is undoubtedly one of the hottest right now, with India leading the charge.
The listing further reveals the smartwatch could be launched under a new sub-brand called CMF by Nothing. The same tipster had previously spotted a trademark filing by the company dubbed 'CMF by Nothing', which confirms the development.
The BIS listing does not reveal anything about what the smartwatch might offer. But considering that it is now doing the rounds of certification websites, the launch is likely going to be soon.
Nothing co-founder Carl Pei had previously dropped hints that the brand is thinking of making a smartwatch. Pei said he had purchased the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro to know more about smartwatches, but found it practically useless. Responding to a user query about Nothing launching a new smartwatch, Pei then had said he picked up the Samsung watch to learn more about the category.
Now, the latest BIS listing indicates that a smartwatch is indeed in the works.
