Is OnePlus Watch 3 Launching Alongside OnePlus 13 Series? Here’s What We Know
OnePlus is showing no signs of slowing down. After a busy year with the launch of its second-generation smartwatches, the Watch 2 and Watch 2R, the company is already setting its sights on its next major release.
Rumors point to the OnePlus Watch 3 debuting alongside the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R, making for a significant global launch event in the coming months.

OnePlus Watch 3: Building on a Strong Foundation
The OnePlus Watch 3 has been the subject of leaks and speculation, though official details are still under wraps. Its predecessor, the OnePlus Watch 2 (review), brought substantial upgrades with Wear OS, a dual-chip architecture, and an impressive battery life exceeding 50 hours-even with features like health monitoring and an always-on display enabled.
So, what might the Watch 3 bring to the table? While nothing is confirmed, it's fair to expect iterative improvements like a slimmer, more lightweight design, smaller bezels, and perhaps a functional rotating crown for easier navigation. Given the growing competition in the smartwatch space, enhanced app integrations and a more powerful chipset could also be in the cards.
A standout feature OnePlus is likely to build on is its dual-chip architecture, which splits tasks between two dedicated processors: the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC running WearOS and the BES2700 chip running RTOS. This approach has been a defining factor in the success of its previous watches, and a refined version could ensure the Watch 3 stays ahead of the competition.
OnePlus 13 and 13R
While the Watch 3 is exciting, it won't be launching alone. The OnePlus 13, which first debuted in China in late 2024, is set for an international release alongside the OnePlus 13R. As always, the 13R will aim to offer a similar flagship experience at a more wallet-friendly price, following the successful formula of its predecessor, the OnePlus 12R.
