OnePlus has unveiled the OnePlus Watch 3, its latest smartwatch, featuring a larger 1.5-inch AMOLED LTPO display with reduced bezels. This screen achieves up to 2,200 nits peak brightness, making it significantly brighter than its predecessor. Users can now personalise their watch face by uploading video clips. A new rotating crown enhances navigation through screens.

The Emerald Titanium variant showcases a silver titanium bezel and stainless-steel body, paired with a green fluororubber strap and stainless steel buckle. Inspired by nature, this finish symbolises energy and growth. The Obsidian Titanium model features a black titanium bezel and similar body materials, complemented by a black strap.

OnePlus Watch 3 Durability and Health Features

The OnePlus Watch 3 boasts military-grade durability with 5ATM + IP68 water and dust resistance. It supports over 100 sports modes. New sensors include a wrist temperature sensor, an eight-channel optical heart rate sensor, and a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor. Enhanced GPS capabilities are provided by a circular polarised antenna for improved mapping in urban areas.

An EKG feature is slated for release in Europe in Q2 2025 but lacks FDA approval for the US and Canada markets. The OnePlus 60S Health Check-in offers quick scans of heart rate, blood oxygen levels, mental wellness, wrist temperature, sleep quality, and vascular age. Improved sleep tracking assesses snoring patterns to identify breathing issues.

OnePlus Watch 3 Battery Life and Charging

The smartwatch contains a 631mAh battery offering up to 120 hours of usage in Smart mode or up to 16 days in power saver mode. VOOC fast charging provides all-day power after just ten minutes of charging.

Specifications include a scratch-resistant sapphire glass-protected LTPO AMOLED screen with Snapdragon W5 + BES2800BP processors running WearOS 5. It supports Android 8.0 or later versions. Over 100 workout modes are available, including professional sports like skiing and tennis.

OnePlus Watch 3 Features

The device includes comprehensive health monitoring features such as arterial stiffness measurement through vascular health tests. Sleep monitoring provides quality scores and snoring risk assessments while tracking wrist temperature and heart rate continuously.

Additional sensors include an optical pulse oximeter, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, barometer, acceleration sensor, and gyroscope sensor. The watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5ATM) and meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards.

Bluetooth 5.3 ensures reliable connectivity alongside dual-band L1+L5 support for Beidou, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS systems. The watch offers standalone music playback with its 32GB storage capacity and supports Bluetooth calling via built-in microphone and speakers. The OnePlus Watch 3 measures 47×46.6×12.1mm and weighs approximately 49.7g without the strap or about 81g with it attached.

The smartwatch is available in Emerald Titanium and Obsidian Titanium colours at USD 329.99 (approximately Rs. 28,700), which is USD 30 more than its predecessor's price point; it costs EUR299 (USD 312 / Rs 27,200 approx.) in Europe. Pre-orders have commenced in the US and Europe ahead of its February 25th release date; however, details regarding an Indian launch remain undisclosed at present.
