Pebble Time Round smartwatch with a circular dial, slim profile now official at $249


Pebble announced their new smartwatch dubbed the Pebble Time Round today. One of the best looking smartwatches around, the all new Pebble Time round is thin and light on the hands while being easy to use. It comes with a retro round dial and weight up at just 24 grams.

Pebble states that at 7.5mm the Time Round is the slimmest smartwatch in the world. The device comes in black and silver variants. However there is an option for a limited edition Rose Gold edition.

The smartwatch comes in two different bands of 14mm and 20mm. The Rose Gold variant however comes only in the 14mm band option.

The Pebble Time Round runs on the company's own smartwatch specific OS. The watches are only available in leather bands as of now, but Pebble promises to introduce metal bands later this year.

Pebble further adds that the watch comes with fast charging capabilities which mean that it would take just 15 mins to take charge from 0-100%.

Pebble Time Round starts at $249 and can be reserved at (shipping worldwide), Best Buy, Target, and Amazon. Watches start shipping and will be available at US and Canadian retailers in early November. Retail availability in the UK will begin later this year, followed by EU retailers in early 2016
