Samsung Brings Galaxy AI Features to Galaxy Buds, Buds 2 Pro, and Buds FE

Samsung's new Galaxy AI features, initially introduced with the Galaxy S24 series last month, are making their way to the tech giant's wireless earphones. In a recent announcement, Samsung revealed the rollout of an over-the-air (OTA) update in India, extending Live Translation and Interpretation capabilities to the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Galaxy Buds2, and Galaxy Buds FE.

Live Translation and Interpretation Features

The Live Translation feature allows users to experience real-time call translations on the Galaxy S24 series' screens while communicating through Galaxy Buds. Interpretation, on the other hand, facilitates seamless two-way, face-to-face interpretation directly through the Galaxy Buds interface.

According to Samsung, these features operate on-device for the Galaxy Buds, eliminating the need for an active internet connection. Users can speak into the Buds' microphone, and their translated voice becomes available on the Galaxy S24 series, fostering natural conversations between individuals equipped with Galaxy S24 series smartphones and Galaxy Buds, respectively.

Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Buds2, and Buds FE Now Support Live Translation and Interpretation

Samsung's Galaxy Buds 2, Buds2 Pro, and Buds FE are set to benefit from the AI-powered language capabilities originally unveiled with the Galaxy S24 series. Through an over-the-air update, users can now enjoy Live Translation and Interpretation features, enhancing language interactions and eliminating communication barriers.

Rollout Details

The Galaxy AI features are currently being deployed for Galaxy Buds in India through an OTA update and are expected to reach other markets shortly.

Cashback and Upgrade Offer

As an additional incentive, Samsung has introduced a cashback or upgrade offer for the Galaxy Buds series. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro receives a discount of Rs. 6,000, while Buds 2 and Buds FE enjoy discounts of Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000, respectively.
