Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Leaked Renders Reveal a Rotating Bezel

Samsung is preparing to launch a new Galaxy Watch 6 Classic later this year, if the latest report is to be believed. Renders of the smartwatch have also been leaked, revealing that Samsung may revive a few features of the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, the rotating bezel in particular.

Galaxy Watch 6 Design

MySmartPrice, in collaboration with reputed tipster Onleaks, has leaked the renders of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The smartwatch has an all-black design and a brushed metal casing. There's also a silicone wristband with a magnetic clasp.

Going back a couple of generations, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic came with a physical rotating bezel. For the fifth generation, Samsung opted for a gesture-based virtual rotating bezel, much to the dismay of Galaxy Watch users. The brand also ditched the Classic moniker for the Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro.

The similarities with the Watch 4 don't end there. Overall, the Galaxy Watch 6 classic closely resembles the Watch 4, with slightly thick bezels as well as Home and Back buttons. There's also a magnetic loop strap, opening up the possibility of multiple strap options.

Galaxy Watch 6 Rumored Features

According to previous reports, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will have a 1.47-inch display and a resolution of 470 x 470 pixels. That's slightly larger than its predecessor, the Watch 5 Pro, which sports a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display.

The Watch 6 will not only get a larger display, but also a bigger battery, with rumors hinting at a 425mAh battery. To compare, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic features a 361mAh battery, while the Watch 5 has a 410mAh battery.

The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will get a multitude of health features, such as a heart rate sensor, temperature sensor, sleep monitoring, body composition analysis, GPS, and a barometer. The smartwatch will be powered by the new Exynos W980 processor.

Galaxy Watch 6 Rumored Launch Timeline

Although Samsung hasn't confirmed the official launch date, reports suggest that the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will debut alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 at the Galaxy Unpacked Event which will reportedly be held on July 26.
