Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro May Bring Back the Physical Rotating Bezel
Samsung could bring back the rotating bezel on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, after the present Galaxy Watch 5 moved away from it, opting for instead a digital bezel, imitating the feeling of a physical ring through haptics. It was a refreshing change after years of Samsung using the design for its smartwatches, but it did break a few hearts when Samsung decided to ditch it.
Now, according to reports, the fan-favorite rotating bezel may make a comeback in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 6. But there are caveats.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Expected Features
According to YouTuber Super Roader, Samsung will bring back the physical rotating bezel with the Galaxy Watch 6 series. However, unlike the previous generations, only the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro will be fortunate enough to get it back. The regular Galaxy Watch 6 will have to make do with the haptic bezel, which is good no doubt, offering the same functionalities, but it does not fully deliver that tactile experience of the physical rotating bezel.
The rotating bezel is what gives the Galaxy Watch lineup its unique identity. The feature has been there since the earlier Gear smartwatches that ran on Samsung's Tizen platform. The rotating bezel offered a tactile way of navigating through the user interface. You could effortlessly cycle through widgets, screens and apps, along with adjusting variables inside an app, and more. But more than that, it worked as an excellent fidgeting tool.
Other reports claim the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro will come in two sizes, unlike the Watch 5 Pro which only came in a 45mm avatar. It is likely that Samsung will offer choices for thinner wrists.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Expected Release Date
The report states Samsung will keep the focus on battery life with the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro Most other details about the smartwatch are currently unknown, but it is safe to assume that it will run on Google's latest Wear OS and powered by Snapdragon's latest chip for wearables.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro release date is unknown, but it is likely to launch in the second half of the year, along with the annual foldable refresh from the Korean giant.
