Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro Returning To Classic Design With Rotating Bezels But Has A Curved Display?
Samsung is expected to launch the next generation of the Galaxy Watch. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series will likely include a standard and a Pro variant. The South Korean tech giant is tipped to adopt the "classic" variant design, which it had abandoned in the Galaxy Watch 5 series, for the premium smartwatches.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is expected to pack a new chipset, a larger display with a higher resolution, and a bigger battery, claims a recent leak. Let's look at all the available details about the as-yet-unannounced Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro, the top-end model in the upcoming series of smartwatches.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro Design Similar To Galaxy Watch 4 Classic?
Samsung launches a new series of its premium Galaxy Watch smartwatches each year, and every year, there's a "Classic" model. However, Samsung dropped the Classic variant in last year's Galaxy Watch 5 series.
It appears Samsung regretted not offering Galaxy Watch 5 Classic edition. While the Classic edition may have been scrapped for good, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro may adopt the Classic design and retain some of its aesthetic features, suggests a new leak.
Tipster Ice Universe claims the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro will bring back the iconic and highly useful physical rotating bezel from the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic edition. The Watch 6 Pro, however, may have a "narrower" bezel.
For reasons yet unknown, Samsung ditched this hardware feature on the Galaxy Watch 5 series and opted for a digital bezel instead. It is not clear why Samsung backtracked, but the rotating bezel is quite versatile and offers a tactile feel while navigating the menu on the premium smartwatch.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro Expected Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is tipped to feature a curved Super AMOLED display like that of the Google Pixel Watch. The actual resolution isn't known yet.
Previous leaks suggested that the Galaxy Watch 6 series will be powered by a new Exynos W980 SoC. The new chipset is expected to be more powerful and capable than the Exynos W920 SoC, which powers the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 4 series.
