Samsung is in the headlines as it unveiled the Galaxy Note 8 at the Galaxy Unpacked event yesterday. Besides this, the company has hit the news as it accidentally listed the Gear Fit 2 Pro, the latest addition to the fitness wear lineup on its official website.
Just minutes before the launch of the Galaxy Note 8, the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro was listed on the website. Notably, the fitness band is yet to be announced officially. The listing shows the fitness band in all its glory with some features and specifications. According to the listing, the Gear Fit 2 Pro will be available in Red and Black color variants and comes with up to 5 ATM water resistance. The Speedo app developed for the fitness band will track the swimming activities of the users and present them as a summary. This app might arrive in phases based on the countries.

With the Gear Fir 2 Pro, users can track their activity, sleep as well as workout statistics in one dashboard. They can also plan and track the running routes. This fitness band from the South Korean tech giant will be compatible with Endomondo and MyFitnessPal.
The Samsung website claims that the Gear Fir 2 Pro can detect the activity and log the same automatically. It can also measure the heart rate of the users all through the day pointing out the heart rate zones that will let users take better fitness decisions.

On the specifications front, the listing that was spotted on the official Samsung website tips that the fitness band runs on Tizen OS and flaunts a 1.5-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 216 x 432 pixels. The device is said to feature 512MB RAM and 4GB default storage of which the user accessible storage will be 2GB. The battery capacity of the Gear Fit 2 Pro will be 2000mAh that can render up to 5 days of backup on low usage. It is said to be launched with Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS and 3000 watch faces and apps.
