Samsung’s Wearables Are Officially Getting Galaxy AI With the New One UI 6 Watch Update
Samsung is about to make its Galaxy Watches even more helpful for health and fitness enthusiasts. The company is bringing Galaxy AI, first introduced on the Galaxy S24 phones, to its smartwatches with the upcoming One UI 6 Watch update.
Improved Health Insights
One of the key features of Galaxy AI on Galaxy Watch is Energy Score. This feature analyzes various health metrics, including sleep patterns, daily activity, and heart rate, to provide a comprehensive picture of your overall well-being.

Galaxy AI also offers personalized Wellness Tips to help users achieve their specific health goals. Whether you're looking to improve your sleep quality or boost your fitness level, the Galaxy Watch will provide tailored guidance and motivation.

Enhanced Sleep Tracking
For those who prioritize sleep health, the new update brings significant improvements to sleep tracking. The enhanced sleep AI algorithm provides a more detailed analysis of your sleep quality, including factors like movement during sleep, sleep latency, and respiratory rate. This detailed data can help users understand their sleep patterns and identify areas for improvement.
Advanced Fitness Features
For fitness enthusiasts, Galaxy AI offers new features to help them train more effectively. Runners can benefit from detailed Aerobic Threshold (AT) and Anaerobic Threshold (AnT) data to optimize their running workouts. Cyclists gain access to Functional Threshold Power (FTP) metrics, allowing them to personalize their power training and maximize performance.
The update also introduces a new Workout Routine feature that creates seamless workout transitions between different exercises. Additionally, the Race feature allows runners and cyclists to compare their current performance with past efforts on the same routes.
Availability
The new features will be available later this year on the upcoming Galaxy Watch lineup with One UI 6 Watch. A limited beta program starts in June for Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic, Galaxy Watch5, Galaxy Watch5 Pro, Galaxy Watch6, and Galaxy Watch6 Classic.
This is just the first step for Galaxy AI on smartwatches. Samsung promises to showcase the full potential of AI with upcoming hardware upgrades in the new Galaxy Watch series.
