Xiaomi's sub-brand Huami announced the Amazfit BIP smartwatch in the company's home market China back in August 2017. Now, it looks like the device has entered the US market. The Amazfit US website has listed this smartwatch at $99 in four color variants such as Onyx Black, White Cloud, Kokoda Green, and Cinnabar Red. It looks some of these color variants will be shipped only in March this year.
The Amazfit BIP smartphone comes with a long-lasting battery touted to give several days of backup to the wearable. The device has enough features such as GPS, heart rate sensor, activity, sports and sleep tracking features with the 3-axis accelerometer and a barometer as well. Eventually, it is one of the best smartwatches available in the market.

The smartwatch boasts of a 1.28-inch Always On reflective touch display with a resolution of 176 x 176 pixels. The display is topped with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and AF coating that provides a view of the time, steps, weather, date, sports statistics, etc. There is Bluetooth 4.0 LE for pairing with smartphones, a 20mm standard width changeable watch band, IP68 rating that makes it resistant to splashing, rain, and dust. Notably, this wearable device weighs in at just 31 grams.
A 1900mAh Li-Po battery powers the smartwatch from within rendering a long-lasting backup to the device. This battery is touted to render over 30 days of battery life on normal usage and up to 45 days of battery life on very minimal usage
The Xiaomi Amazfit BIP smartwatch is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. It shows calls, text messages, emails and app notifications on the always-on display. It tracks several activities such as cycling, run, and other sports with detailed GPS routes and statistics. The device shows the calories burnt, distance, sleep pattern, and more. There is a 3-axis accelerometer - air pressure sensor (barometer) for elevation, geomagnetic sensor (compass) and GPS + GLONASS for route tracking. Also, the heart rate sensor helps in tracking the heart beat anywhere and anytime.
