Three months ago, the Chinese handset maker Xiaomi has launched its Mi Band 2 at 149 yuan (approx Rs. 1,500). However, due to recent demand, the company is planning to sell it at 200 yuan (approx Rs. 2,000).
Moreover, the company is planning to double the production of Mi Band as Huami, the company that produces the Mi Band hinted two months ago. As per the report, the Mi Band 2 still tops the popularity chart of Xiaomi's most wanted gadgets with 37 million persons interested in it. In his social account Weibo, Wang admitted they had indeed doubled production as stated but due to the large volume of demand, it obviously was not enough.
Talking about the specification, the Mi Band 2 come with a removable 0.42-inch OLED display with scratch resistant glass, anti-fingerprint coating. Also, this device comes with IP67 ratings, Bluetooth 4.0, Heart rate sensor.
Further, this Mi Band 2 can monitor your fitness and tracks your sleeping patterns as well. The Mi Band 2 is powered by a 70mAh Li-po battery that can last up to 20 days on a single charge.
However, there is no information about the availability of the device in the Indian market as of now.
