Xiaomi has scheduled an event on June 13, 2023. The company has indicated that it will launch multiple new products in the Indian market, which include a new Android tablet and Redmi Buds 4 Active.

Xiaomi teased the design of the Redmi Buds 4 Active and even revealed some key specifications of the TWS earbuds. They will launch alongside the Xiaomi Pad 6 on June 13.

The Redmi Buds 4 Active feature a tall stem and will ship with soft silicone ear tips for better grip and passive noise cancellation. In other words, these earbuds lack ANC (Active Noise Cancellation).

Xiaomi claims the Redmi Buds 4 Active features "Pro drivers" for the bass and offers "ultra-battery life". These TWS earbuds feature support for Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) and Google Fast Pair.

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Buds 4 Active in several markets. They feature 12mm dynamic drivers and support SBC codec. Each earbud weighs 3.65 grams and packs a 34mAh battery.

Xiaomi claims they offer up to five hours' worth of battery life on a single charge. The charging case packs a 440mAh battery and weighs about 34.7 grams. Cumulatively, these buds can offer up to 28 hours of battery life, claims Xiaomi.

The oval-shaped charging case for the earbuds has a charging indicator next to the USB Type-C port at the bottom. Just 10 minutes of charging the case can offer up to two hours of battery life, added the company.

Some of the notable features of the Redmi Buds 4 Active include an IPX4 rating for basic water resistance, support for Google Fast Pair, touch controls for playback, answering calls, and a low latency mode while playing games.

Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Buds 4 Active TWS earbuds in India on June 13, 2023. They will be available in White and Black color options with a matching charging case.

Xiaomi hasn't yet confirmed the price of the Redmi Buds 4 Active. However, as they are supposed to be a budget offering, it is possible the company may price them slightly below ₹3,000, with some introductory launch offers which may bring down the asking price.
