The images published by South Korea's NRRA (National Radio Research Agency) reveal that the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 will get a two-piece detachable strap. The same design is seen on the Xiaomi Band 7 Pro, while the vanilla models feature a single rubber loop.

The smartwatch dial doesn't seem to have any drastic change, as it appears to sport the same capsule-like design as its predecessors. According to the listing, the Xiaomi Band 8, bearing model number M2239B1 includes support for Bluetooth 5.1. The Korean Agency did not reveal any other details about the upcoming fitness tracker.

Recently, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 appeared on the TDRA certification site, hinting at a global launch. The upcoming device will likely inherit a few features from its predecessor, the Smart Band 7.

Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Specifications

The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 sports a 1.62-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 192 × 490 pixels. The display has a pixel density of 326ppi and 500 nits of peak brightness. The device features over 100 custom watch faces.

The Band 7 supports heart rate tracking, sleep monitoring, and all-day SpO2 tracking. The device supports 120 sports modes and has a water resistance of 5ATM. The fitness tracker has a 180mAh battery unit that can reportedly last 15 days on a single charge.

While the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 will launch in global markets, it's unclear whether it will make its way to India. The chances of the fitness tracker debuting in India are slim, considering that the Smart Band 7 didn't launch in India.
