Even consumers no longer need to spend a huge chunk of money to get a pair of TWS earphones featuring ANC and long-lasting battery life. Similary, the newly launched audio devices by Boult come with Hybrid ANC, up to 80 hours of battery life, and premium designs. I have been using both buds for a long, here is my detailed review of these affordable earphones.

- No ANC (Boult Klarity 1)
Boult Klarity 1 and Klarity 3: Price and Availability
The Boult The Klarity 1 TWS earbuds are now selling for Rs 1,099, while the Klarity 3 is available at Rs. 2,199. The former one comes in three colour options namely - Aquamarine, Midnight Black, and Skyline Grey.

On the other hand, the Klarity 3 is offered in Obsidian Black and Smoky Metal variants. Both earbuds can be purchased on the brand's official website and other online e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.

Boult Klarity 1 and Klarity 3: Design
Starting with the Klarity 1 (Midnight Black), which has a distinctive hourglass-inspired design with a liquid metal procranium curvy body. The charging case is divided into two finishes: one half has a matte finish, while the other half is glossy and prone to scratches.
In contrast, the Klarity 3 (Obsidian Black) sports a stem-style design and its charging case boasts a smooth vegan leather-like finish. Moreover, both earbuds support USB Type-C ports placed at the bottom.
The premium look of the Klarity 3 is evident in its design. However, removing them from the case can be challenging as they tend to get stuck to the lid. There is no such issue with the Klarity 1, which even has a unique hourglass-inspired design.

Boult Klarity 1 and Klarity 3: Sound and Audio
The Klarity 1 comes with 13mm BoomX drivers for bass and environmental noise cancellation (ENC) features, allowing you to enjoy a crystal clear conversation without external noise. The earbuds also support SBC and AAC Codec and feature 45ms low latency for lag-free gaming, which can be activated by tapping the multifunctional button four times.
Meanwhile, the Klarity 3 also gets the same 13mm BoomX drivers but includes Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that can block external noise by up to 50 dB. To activate ANC mode, press the right earbud for two seconds. Like the Klarity 1, these earbuds also feature a 45ms low latency mode.
Additionally, the Klarity 3 allows users to customise their audio using multiple EQ modes on the Boult Amp app. Both models offer good audio quality for their asking prices, but Klarity 3 will be the good pick for those who are looking for affordable earbuds with ANC features.

Boult Klarity 1 and Klarity 3: Touch Control and Connectivity
Both earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.4 and Blink and Pair support for quick and seamless connections. It can connect to two devices simultaneously and offer smooth touch controls. I didn't face any problems connecting the earbuds to my Android phone, although it took a while to connect the buds to my iPhone the first time.

Boult Klarity 1 and Klarity 3: Battery Life
As promised, the Boult Klarity 1 delivers a total of up to 80 hours of playback time when used with the charging case, while the Klarity 3 provides up to 50 hours of battery life.
A quick 10-minute charge on the Klarity 3 allows using two hours and it takes more than one hour to charge them from 30 per cent to 90 per cent. In contrast, it takes around two hours to charge the Klarity 1 fully.

Verdict
For those looking for a long-lasting battery, the Klarity 1 is an excellent choice. It boasts a distinctive design, although it lacks Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Conversely, the Klarity 3 includes ANC but its design flaw you may not like.
