Sony Xperia 1 VI Launched
The Sony Xperia 1 VI features a 6.5-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, a significant departure from its past 4K OLED displays with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It boasts a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and an adaptive refresh rate.
The Sony Xperia 1 VI runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. In Japan and select East Asian regions, a 512GB variant is available. It features an FPS Optimizer and a vapor chamber for enhanced performance.
The Xperia 1 VI features a triple-camera setup, including a 48 MP primary sensor with dual pixel PDAF, OIS, and an f/1.9 aperture. It also has a 12 MP ultrawide lens and a new 12 MP telephoto-periscope shooter capable of 3.5x to 7.1x optical zoom.
The Xperia 1 VI boasts a 5,000mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging and wireless charging support. It incorporates Battery Care and Xperia Adaptive Charging technology for long-term battery health. Additionally, it features front-facing stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack with Premium Audio Circuitry.
The Sony Xperia 1 VI costs €1,399 (about Rs 1,26,550) in Europe for the 12GB/256GB variant, available in Black, Platinum Silver, and Khaki Green. It will be released next month but won't be available in India.
