Neo N003: Cheapest Full HD Quad Core Smartphone Coming Soon to Outdo Android Dominators
After the coming of the Samsung Galaxy S3, the sales of quad core handsets quadrupled. Samsung played a major role in making quad core based handsets in roads. As usual, these so -called high end handsets were damn expensive to own back in 2012.
Getting a quad core handset now is not a big deal - thanks to China and its mind blowing brands. Even Indian -handset makers are getting into quad core game with their set offerings. But the question arises who can produced world's cheapest quad core based handset that too with 1080p HD display.
Naturally, as of now, China is the only country where you can find ultra affordable high end smartphone. Meet, the Neo N003, an unknown brand-but trying hard to dethrone Samsung. Now it's getting too much. Anyway, GizmoPhiliacs (via GSMArena) reports that the said handset which comes with a 5-inch 1080p HD and quad core processor at just 899 Yuan (Rs. 7,852).
This handset model would be the cheapest handset on earth with 1080p HD and quad core processor. The makers behind Neo N003 also said to offer another version at 1499 Yuan (Rs. 13,093), but with beefed specs. The release of both handset models is yet to take place. Neo N003 - Highlighted specifications
The Neo N003 dubbed as word's cheapest 1080p HD display handset. Its origin can be traced from its Chinese roots. The device is still to go official sometime in the coming days, but has already made Sony and HTC, to rework on their ideologies. Why not? After all, getting the Sony Xperia Z or HTC One, is not easy for masses.
As per various reports swirling on the internet, the cherished Neo N003 will arrive with these following specifications: a 5-inch 1080p HD display, MediaTek made Quad Core processor, a 13-mega pixel rear shooter and 3,000mAh battery.
India based manufacturers who are aggressively promoting 'affordable' quad core handsets; true Full HD smartphones, are still not on a radar. Surely, these tech vendors managed to sell a basic version of quad core smartphone upwards of Rs.10,000.
For instance - Karbonn S1 Titanium comes with 1.2-GHz quad core processor with a 4.55-inch 720p HD display at a price of Rs.10, 990. The Micromax Canvas HD which is being sold at Rs.13, 990, comes with a quad core processor and 720p HD screen.
Now it is to be seen when India-based manufacturer start selling 1080p HD display ducked handsets in the market. By large, these tech vendors ape Samsung and other big players. On March 14, the South Korean giant will unveil its next -gen Galaxy device. It is said that the Galaxy S4 will have a 4.99-inch 1080p Full HD display along with 8-core processor.
