Micromax Canvas Power A96 With 4000 MAh Battery Up for Sale At Rs 9,900
Just yesterday, the leaks pertaining to Micromax's super-powered smartphone with 400MAh battery were making rounds over online media sites. Now the device, which comes dubbed as Canvas Power A96 has already been listed on the company's official site and it's true that it will come powered by the same monster battery. The device can be bought for Rs. 9,900 from company's offical store.
However, the company has not officially launched the device as of now.

The device will be surely standing up against another massive battery featuring smartphone called P780 from a Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo, which comes with a similar Li-Po 4000 mAh battery.

Other specs, however, vary between the two devices. Thus going by the specs, the upcoming Canvas Power A96 comes with a 5 inch TFT display offering a very less FWVGA resolution of 480 x 854pixels.
It comes powered by MTK 6582M 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM. The device will come running on Jellybean 4.2 Operating System. Although there is a 4 GB internal storage capacity only 1.14GB will be user accessible. But there's no need to worry since there is an external microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB of additional memory.
The company has used a 5 MP front facing shooter with a flash, which comes along with a support for HD (1280 x 720) video recording. There is a 0.3 MP front facing shooter also in the device which can be used for making video calls and taking selfies.
Connectivity options are pretty much regular which means that you'll get to see Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB and GPS. And obviously, there is a Dual SIM support incorporated in the device.
The unique feature of this particular handset is the battery which has a capacity of 4000MAh - which is rarely used in smartphones. According to the company, the battery can offer users a talk time of 13.5 hours and a standby time of 450 hours.
The only rival the latest Micromax Canvas Power A96 will have when it will hit the market shelves is the Lenovo P780 which comes with a similar battery capacity.
