Motorola Moto Z Play to feature standard audio jack as well as USB Type C!
A recent report suggested that Motorola is working on improving the camera performance on its next generation Moto Z and Moto X smartphones. Now a new report has surfaced, suggesting Moto Z Play in the making.
The comeback of 3.5mm Audio Jack!
Now Lenovo owned Motorola launched the Moto Z and Moto Z Force few months back, but did not introduce the Moto Z Play. Earlier today, a new photo surfaced online, allegedly featuring the bottom of an unannounced Moto phone placed between the Moto Z and the Moto Z Force. This mystery phone features a 3.5mm audio port, unlike the Moto Z and Moto Z Force which do not sport a 3.5mm earphone jack.

It seems like Motorola wants to reintroduce the 3.5mm Jack with the Moto Z Play, some of the fans of Motorola were left in disappointment, when Moto announced the Z and Z Force without the standard audio jack. Nevertheless, all three handsets have USB Type C reversible port for faster data transfer and quicker battery charge.

The phone is likely to be none other than the Moto Z Play, as the phone recently appeared on AnTuTu, which revealed it specs and hinted its imminent launch. As per previous reports, the phone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution.

To power it up, there might be Snapdragon 625 octa-core CPU chipset with the Adreno 506 GPU running under the hood. The chipset combined with 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of native storage is expected to take care of the smooth sailing of the device. Other rumored specs include a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and standard connectivity features.

As far as its pricing is concerned, the Moto Z Play might get priced around Rs 20,000, though nothing can be confirmed as of now. The company might launch the phone in India soon after its global launch, which might happen by next month.
