This may not be a big news to most fans and tech enthusiasts around the country, but Indian smartphone maker Xolo has probably become the first in its kind in the country to release kernel source code for its Q1100 smartphone.
The new kernel source code, for the device that's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, will now arrive as big news for all the Android developers, provided they are trying to build a custom firmware for the Q1100 smartphone.
The source code has been posted on SourceForge by the company's developers and will now enable other devs to create better custom ROMs for the smartphone, although it is of little use to basic customers (for the time being).
To check out the source code, head over to sourceforge.net where the code is currently present for interested devs to work with.
