Good News! Reliance Jio Welcome Offer Is Not Ending on December 3
Reliance Jio’s Welcome Offer is not ending on December 3rd, users will get free 4G data and voice calls until December 31.
Of late, the news has been abuzz that Reliance Jio's unprecedented 'Welcome Offer' will end on December 3 and not on December 31 with multiple media reports claiming the same.
However, Reliance Jio has finally cleared the air by confirming that it'll be providing uninterrupted free voice calls and 4G data services (along with all the other service which accompany the Welcome Offer) until December 31, like it promised during its public launch.

But, users who will subscribe to Reliance Jio services after December 3rd will not be eligible for the Welcome Offer. They'll have to opt for other offers which Jio may announce soon.
Apparently, panicked by the amount of user base garnered by the Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio, other major telecom operators in the country have requested TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) to look into the legality of Jio's offers thereby accusing the company of predatory pricing.

TRAI, however, made it clear that Reliance Jio's offer complies with the TRAI's rules and regulations confirming its legality. Having said that, according to TRAI, Reliance Jio cannot extend its promotional offer beyond 90 days.

To recall, Reliance Jio made its services public on September 5, 2016. If 90 days, reckoned from the day of launch, will end on December 3rd and not on December 31. And hence the slight changes in 'Welcome Offer' mentioned above.
It remains to be seen if Reliance Jio rolls out new offers to the users who subscribe the company's services after December 3rd. Perhaps, it may re-schedule its commercial launch to early December or roll out an entirely new offer.
