Oakley Meta Glasses Go on Sale in India Starting at Rs. 41,800
Oakley and Meta have teamed up again, and this time their smart glasses have officially made it to India. After launching globally in June, the Oakley Meta HSTN Glasses are now available through Sunglass Hut and major optical retailers across the country.

If you’ve seen the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, this is the same idea but in a sportier Oakley frame. You get Meta’s AI features, hands-free controls, and a camera built right into the eyewear.
Pricing and Variants in India
The smart glasses start at Rs. 41,800 for the Clear and Prizm options. If you want more advanced lenses, the Prizm Polarised variant comes in at Rs. 44,200, while the Prizm Transition model is the most expensive at Rs. 47,600.
Oakley is offering the glasses in its HSTN silhouette, so they look and feel like regular Oakleys at first glance.
Camera and Video Features
Meta has upgraded the camera over the first-generation Ray-Ban model, so you get a 12MP shooter with support for 3K video recording at 30fps. The camera has a 100-degree field of view, which helps capture a more natural point-of-view perspective.

You can record in Standard, Slow Motion, or Hyperlapse modes. For still photos, the glasses shoot at 3024 x 4032 resolution, which is good enough for social media or casual use. If livestreaming is your thing, you can go live directly to Instagram using the built-in camera and microphone system.
Audio, Storage, and Everyday Use
The Oakley Meta Glasses include a penta-microphone setup that captures audio for both videos and calls. Calls and music play through the open-ear speakers, so you don’t have to wear headphones to hear notifications or songs.
Storage is fixed at 32GB, and Meta says that’s enough for more than a thousand photos and over a hundred short video clips. You also get a small LED indicator on the frame that lights up when the camera is recording.
Meta AI Assistant Built In
The bigger story here is Meta’s AI assistant. You can say “Hey Meta” to ask about the weather, plan a day out, get cooking suggestions, or control music through Apple Music, Spotify, and a few other services. The idea is to keep your hands free while still being able to pull up information or manage simple tasks.
Battery Life and Charging
Meta says the glasses will last up to eight hours on a single charge. The bundled charging case stretches that to around 48 hours of mixed use, so you won’t need to plug in every night.
A Familiar Idea With an Oakley Twist
If you liked the direction of the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses but wanted something sportier or more outdoors-friendly, this Oakley version feels like a natural extension. The design leans into Oakley’s performance aesthetic while keeping Meta’s AI features intact.
