Amazon Basics' lightning to 3.5mm jack for iPhone is the best adapter of the sort, retails at $30
Amazon has introduced a two-way lightning to 3.5 mm audio jack adapter for iPhone that also houses a lightning adapter. It retails for $29.74 and costs less than Belkin's lightning to 3.5mm audio jack
Google followed in the footsteps of Apple by doing away with the 3.5 mm audio jack on its latest Pixel 2 smartphone series for good. This has left both Apple and Google users with a very limited choice of headphones and earphone unless they look out for options in the wireless segment. However, its no irony that both the technology leaders have also introduced great wireless earphones, the AirPods, and the Pixel Buds to lure in consumers.
That being said, users also have an additional option to attach a 3.5 mm audio port to their charging port. Apple has already started retailing the two-in-one charging and headphone enhancement from Belkin in its retail stores in the US. The accessory from Belkin allows users to listen to music while simultaneously charging the iPhones. The accessory retails for $35 (approx. Rs.2280) and it already has a better-priced competitor that also has a much practical design.
Amazon's AmazonBasics lightning to 3.5 mm audio jack retails for $29.74 (approx. Rs. 1900). It also has a practical design and isn't as bulky as the adapter from Belkin. Amazon has designed the dongle in a very practical fashion which not only reduces the size of the adapter but also allows users to plug in lightning cable and headphone quite efficiently.
The adapter comes in an L-shaped design with audio jack at the bottom and the lightning port on the slightly extended arm. The accessory is available for Amazon users in the US.
