Beats, a subsidiary of Apple has finally made a flagship addition to its Beats by Dr. Dre lineup. While it has taken nearly three years for the company to come up with a new product, it has now launched Beats Studio3 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones.
The high-quality headphone has been launched at a price of $349.95 (approximately Rs. 22,450) in the US. And as it is common to see top-end features in a Beats headphones, the Beats Studio3 also comes with a W1 chip which is found in Apple AirPods. The chip basically helps the users to easily connect with several Apple devices.
Further, the chip is said to increase battery life substantially. As per the company with this chip, the headphones deliver up to 22 hours of battery life for all-day fully-featured playback with Pure ANC on, and Fast Fuel technology for 3 hours of play with a 10-minute charge. Pure ANC-off for low power mode provides up to 40 hours of battery life.
However, what sets this new headphone apart from its predecessors is that the new headphones also comes with Pure Adaptive Noise Cancelling (Pure ANC) feature. As for the functionality, this feature actively blocks external noise and constantly samples the surroundings in real time to match the level of noise cancelling needed. The company claims that the new Studio 3 Wireless headphones will be going up against the best noise-cancelling headphones from the top and popular audio brands like Sony and Bose.
Moreover, Apple has said, "It continuously pinpoints external sounds to block while automatically responding to individual fit in real-time, optimising sound output to preserve a premium listening experience the way artists intended."
The Beats Studio3 Wireless headphone is designed for long-term comfort to match its impressive battery life of up to 22 hours for all-day play. The soft over-ear cushions feature advanced venting and signature ergonomic pivoting for a custom, flexible fit for any head shape. The headphones measures 7.2 in./18.4 cm in height and weighs 9.17 oz./260g. The holistic design is lightweight, durable and comfortable.
Some of the other features of the headphones include onboard call and music controls, onboard volume control, noise isolation, stereo Bluetooth, wired playback via RemoteTalk cable, RemoteTalk cable with inline controls, LED Fuel Gauge and charging via Micro-USB Cable.
The Beats Studio3 Wireless Over-Ear stereo headphone is already available for purchase from Apple's online store, will start shipping from mid-October. The new wireless Beats headphones will be available in Red, Matte Black, White, Porcelain Rose, Blue, and Shadow Grey colors.
