Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Likely To Launch Alongside Galaxy S11

A whole range of Galaxy S11 smartphones has been leaked online, revealing a new camera design with a punch-hole display. Now, the support page for the Galaxy Buds+ -- probably the successor to the Galaxy Buds has currently gone live in South Korea.

Samsung launched the original Galaxy Buds alongside the Galaxy S10 and it is easy to believe that its successor might come along the Galaxy S11. According to the support page, the Galaxy Buds+ comes with a model number SM-R175 compared to the model number of the Galaxy Buds SM-R170.

Considering the slight change in the model number, the Galaxy Buds+ might just be minor update compared to its predecessor. Considering the market trend, the Galaxy Buds+ might offer features like active noise cancellation similar to the AirPods Pro.

Galaxy Buds+ are expected to look similar to its predecessor with an in-ear style design. These earbuds are also expected to be water and dust resistant with support for wireless charging and fast wired charging.

As per the connectivity, these earphones should work fine with Android, iOS and any other Bluetooth supporting device. However, the pairing process should be much quicker with a Samsung smartphone compared to a third-party device.

Just like the original edition, the Galaxy Buds+ might launch in multiple color variants. And some of the upcoming flagship smartphones like the next-generation Samsung galaxy Fold might include these earphones in the retail packaging.

As per connectivity, these earbuds will either be based on Bluetooth 5.0 or Bluetooth 5.1, possibly with AKG branding to make it more premium. The company is likely to price the Galaxy Buds+ at a slightly lower price compared to the Apple AirPods. We are estimating that the Galaxy Buds+ might cost anywhere between Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 15,000 in India.
