As we are nearing the launch of the Realme Buds Air, several details regarding this new pair of truly wireless earbuds have started emerging online. There are some official confirmations revealing what we can expect from the affordable Apple AirPods alternative.
Now, a report by GizmoChina reveals almost all the details of the Realme Buds Air. It sheds light on the complete specifications and the alleged pricing of the device. This information comes soon after the confirmation from the company that the accessory will support wireless charging.
Realme Buds Air Specifications
The report notes that the Realme Buds Air will have a battery that can deliver 17 hours of battery life. This is likely to be the overall battery life of the earbuds when it is changed using the case.
Furthermore, it notes that there will be 12mm DBB (Dynamic Bass Boost), which is relatively larger than the 11.2mm DBB drivers used by the Realme Buds Wireless neckband headphones. The report goes on stating that there will be support for AAC codec.
Realme Buds Air is said to feature wear detection that will let it know when users are wearing it in their ears. The truly wireless earbuds will arrive with Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and feature touch controls. The other notable mentions include low latency gaming mode, wireless charging as revealed earlier, a USB Type-C port on the charging case, and Dual Mic ENC for better audio quality during calls.
Realme Buds Air Price
Earlier this week, we came across a report shedding light on the alleged Realme Buds Air pricing in India. The same was revealed by the online retailer Flipkart and the listing was later taken down. This report also reveals the pricing and suggests that the truly wireless earbuds will be priced at Rs. 4,999.
What We Think
Going by the existing reports, the Realme Buds Air is all set to be launched with a wireless charging case with a USB Type-C port, improved drivers, 17 hours of battery life and more. Notably, it is said that all these will be offered for Rs. 4,999. If this turns out to be true, then we expect it to be a really competitive offering in the truly wireless earbuds market segment in India. We will get to know further details at its launch on December 17.
