Recently, the popular WhatsApp messaging app from WhatsApp Inc. which is widely used throughout the world has been updated to make audio chats possible through the app. It was first noticed by BGR.

The best part reagrding the App is that it has already hit the Indian shores few days back and the app which has quite a lot of features now will send voice messages as well. More amazing part is that the users can send at least 2 minutes of recorded voice message.

WhatsApp is currently running a 2.11.12 version and is the latest version that was updated on July 31, 2013. This 10MB update brings features like multi-sending capability, and now one can broadcast to about 50 people. Users can also add media auto-download settings with this update. The update brings a small microphone logo beside the writing space by touching which the voice message can be initiated. For your information WhatsApp is compatible with a variety of devices from Android 2.1 and above to BlackBerry, Windows Phone and iPhone.
