If you are now planning to upgrade or get a new Amazon Prime membership, you don't need to pay the regular Prime membership price. Amazon has announced a new Prime membership that comes with shopping benefits at a more affordable price tag of Rs 399 for one year.

Amazon's new Prime membership plan is named the Prime Shopping Edition, which will cost you Rs 399 for one year. Notably, this plan doesn't include other benefits such as access to Prime Video and Prime Music that one can get with the regular membership plan.

However, you can get benefits like free unlimited same-day or one-day delivery, early access to shopping events, unlimited 5 percent cashback with an Amazon Pay ICICI credit card, and an unlimited 5 percent cashback on all under rides with the Amazon Pay balance.

Here's How to Get It

The Amazon Prime Shopping Edition membership plan is only available via Mobile. To get the plan you need to go to the Amazon app on your smartphone and then log into your account. Select Prime Shopping Edition or Prime Lite Plan and make the payment to get it.

As mentioned above, you won't get benefits like access to Prime Video and Prime Music with this plan. However, if you do shopping regularly, this can be a great option as you will get early access along with discounts.

Further, if you want Prime video access, can go for the Amazon Prime monthly plan which will cost Rs 299, a quarterly plan at Rs 599, and an annual plan at Rs 1,499.
